It is a mother’s responsibility to protect her child from pedophiles! Child molestation can happen to anyone, anywhere. Pedophiles belong in jail with the keys thrown away!
This news would be devastating for me, as I am a Mother. But this isn't the time to become weak and scared. If my child told me this, I would believe her without a doubt and keep her away from that *so-called-*cousin. I would confront that cousin and his family giving a firm warning to that cousin.
I wouldn't be concerned or scared of breaking relationships up over something as serious as this. I would trust and believe my child first! An issue like this should not be ignored.
And depending on how serious the molesting is, if it was more than 'talk' and went into any sort of touching i.e. kissing, fingering, rape - then I would call the Police without fear, hesitation or guilt if I was in England. However, if I was in Pakistan, I wouldn’t bother calling the Police. I would deal with the cousin myself, tie him up with some duck tape, skin him alive and whip him with all the barb wire’s I can get hold of!
Seriously, I am like a Mama elephant when it comes to protecting my child! *Hehe! *:)
Do anything to prevent another child from suffering this anguish.
