Children calling parents by their first names

Re: Children calling parents by their first names

You can call your mother "mom", "khala", "with her name or pet name" but that won't change the fact that she is your mother. If you can respect, honor, care, and comfort her then it really doesn't matter if you call her mom or by other name.

this topics is kind of linked with the one in general "don't judge a book by it's cover". If someone is calling their parents by their name and parents don't have a problem with that the who are we to decide if it is right or wrong, ethical or unethical or who are we to decide if that person is insulting their parents, etc.
If parents don't have any problem then who are we to say "OMG, that guy called her mother by her name....."

I guess I have repeated the same point but we are not one to decide what people call their parents, sibblings, relatives, etc nor we are supposed to make judgements/comments if we don't know anything about their life style, prefrences, etc etc.
