Alright any reasonable person would see that marriage and continuing education are not mutually exclusive, and hence nothing to be concerned about if the girl is say 17.

The case I spoke of , the girl had done her O levels and there was no apparent need for her to continue with education according to them.

Well that’s a separate issue then. I can have my views on what’s practical/important but any family will have their own priorities, which may or may not coincide with mine.
