sarad , you got a point regards the karahi thing .. to be honest I have hardly lived in Pakistan to taste the real karahi .. but I guess we dont have the real karahi’s in the usual homes anyways … plus the karahi they make is on high fire , chicken is almost boiled first to save on time when customers come …

This recipe , try it , its good for home cooking , wont let you down .. the reason I have always cooked in on low heat is so that tomatoes get cooked well while the water dries … I think in Pakistan tomatoes almost immediately disappear in the salan .. they are so soft and nice ..

here , tomatoes are freakishly tough things … they can take a while to disappear fully …

I will try again though after last attempt husband said next time he will make karahi and show me how it is done the right way … secretly I am hoping his karahi sucks as well and then I can attempt again.
