They probably used to do it in kababs cause kabab fall apart if not glued together using eggs. Off course in case of your chicken, you want to use eggs to glue the bread crumbs to your chicken.
You can microwave the raw chicken, that will boil the chicken in its own juice if you may. Then you can bake it.
JK what kind of chicken do you want to make? do you want to make the bread crumbs style or the masala one?
for masala it's dead easy. take some dahi, add in a splash of lemon juice, add in salt, some chilli peppers, some garam masala. mix it well and spread it on the chicken. let it sit for a few hours. then bake it at ummm around 400 for about 45 mins. flip once (you can also add garlic and ginger)
you can take the same recipe, but this time roll the chicken around in some bread crumbs and bake the same way.
you can always skip the yogurt, and mixx the masala in the lemon juice. don't use egg. it's going to look weird =/
nope. the oven will cook it throughly. with my oven i have to set it at 400, so you could always drop it down to hmm 375 for starters to be sure that it's cooked throughly.
if you put bread crumbs on raw chicken, the crumbs will burn/sear way before the chicken gets a chance to cook through...chicken needs to be halfway cooked before adding crumbs unless its boneless chicken. i believe tlk's version would work better.
Is there any other then I can put on chicken before baking it?
Don't know where you live, but if you live in the states you can buy a "Shake N Bake" box and you just moisten raw chicken with little water and shake in the bag with coating and bake.......very easy and tasty.
