Chennai Express - SRK & Deepika

Re: Chennai Express - SRK & Deepika

Again, for those who seem to think SRK needs to stop playing similar roles in order to prove that he is versatile let me just state, that as an actor the biggest thing in your favor is anonymity. Anonymity allows for an actor to dawn different avatars and still appear believable and true as a performer. SRK could do this before 1995 when he was still not a truly global star. He can't anymore. SRK's image is huge and very popular and so when the audience hears of a movie starring SRK they only watch the movie because of him not because of the story or plot. They could care less for it. So SRK needs nothing to prove anymore he has done what was required of him to achieve the level of success envied by others. Anyway film is a business so actors also want to ensure that the projects they involve themselves in go on to become blockbusters to keep the respect of the industry.

Re: Chennai Express - SRK & Deepika

Re: Chennai Express - SRK & Deepika

kehte hain jab khane ko kuch na mile to bande ko piyaz bhi palla machli ka maza deti hai. I’m sure you can relate this with watching with SRK’s movies :hehe: or should I say ‘andhon main kana raja’?

Re: Chennai Express - SRK & Deepika

You are not the only one who dislikes her, I dislike her too, my friends went to watch this movie, they didn’t like her either. I think sonakshi is better then depika.

Daykh lo , mujhe to lagta hai ab saray gareeb loog bollywood industry main chalay gain, millionaire honay ka huwab pura ho sakata hai

Re: Chennai Express - SRK & Deepika

ok. Waleed and Aliya, we were just hilighting what we think SRK lacks. He is no doubt a good actor, but we want to see him in different roles now. simple as that. No hate no bashing.

Re: Chennai Express - SRK & Deepika

Yeah but hasn't he been doing something different already? With Chak De India, Don, Ra.One, Baazigar, Darr, Anjaam? Swades? He's done so many different movies and played so many different roles. What else do you want from the guy?
Even Chennai Express is something different for him.

Re: Chennai Express - SRK & Deepika

something that suits his age. heroine ka bhai / baap :sid: (j/k)

Don = Ra. One = Duplicate = Anjaam = Darr = Bazigar ( many similarities in roles). I want to watch him in roles like Chak de India or Asoka. But may be there are restrictions these roles are not written frequently. He should also try working for some parallel cinema projects or low-budget movies.

Re: Chennai Express - SRK & Deepika

Oh no. :nahi:
With abs like that, he should be hero for the rest of his life.

Re: Chennai Express - SRK & Deepika

why not? when Juhi Chawala can get critics’ shabashi after playing behn ji in ‘My brother Nikhil’, why not SRK can play Bhayya instead of Sayyan?

Re: Chennai Express - SRK & Deepika

Juhi got fat, he didn’t. :snooty:
