That’s not really his fault, is it? Indian cinema don’t really produce those kind of films that often.
Low-budget cinema means that they can’t afford to hire bigger stars like SRK and Salman Khan, they charge a lot.
PS the audience don’t want to see SRK as the dad or brother of the heroine.

I think he can himself make low-budget and parallel cinema movies being the owner of one of the production house. If his role in Chak de India was appreciated, it means he is acceptable in different types of roles.
Why can't SRK play roles like Ronit Roy played in URaan?

yeah but why would he want to make a low budget movie when he's making millions already as is? When everyone is practically going crazy about him (STILL! after 20+ yrs in the business) When he has the biggest fan following ever and is the highest paid actor. Makes zero sense.

I think acting is not all about earning and making money and running in xyz crore race. One needs to be experimental to discover new horizons and providing something new to the audience. Everyone got biggest fan following from Dilip Kumar to Amitabh Bachan.. From Anil Kapoor to Rishi Kapoor. They all made experiments, so should SRK or any other actor do.

Tbh I like SRK in DDLJ, KKHH and Kal Ho Na Ho better. And so do the majority of his fans :D

ok. Waleed and Aliya, we were just hilighting what we think SRK lacks. He is no doubt a good actor, but we want to see him in different roles now. simple as that. No hate no bashing.
TBH, I don't care about what all of you think he lacks...I just felt bad for Waleed coz I know how he feels about this.
Like I said...it doesn't matter what anyone thinks of him, he has already made his mark...he did different things from other heroes at the beginning of his career, when no other hero would have taken the risk of doing negative roles, he did it...and how he succeeded in it...I am glad he did those negative roles at the beginning..coz if I saw him shoving a girl off the roof-top after he did DDLJ I would be pretty annoyed!
You are all entitled to your own opinions..after all he is an entertainer and his life and career is open for all to see...but all this bashing is not going to make a difference to him....

As for chennai express..I watched it and thought it was pretty funny...though I probably wouldn't watch it in the theatre and instead wait for it on DVD or something
