ok after a long time today i saw her show..... aur she was like............ jab bhi rahat kuch banati hai tu wisaye hi logon keh gharoon main khushi pehl jati hai.............. my mom and I had a good laugh/........ we were like... ya we are decorating the home.... and dancing......... aur jashan mana rahye hain... coz rahat cooked today!!! lolzzz
itni galat fehmi bhi nahian honi chaiye insaan ko apnaye bare main!

Once a small child called her show nd said "mujhe kuch kehna hai magar aap bura nahin manayi ga"
To that Rahat replied "itni choti si ho aur bura mananay wali baat karo gi? mat kaho is se tumhari tarbeeyat kharab hojaye gi, bachon ko politics mein nahin prhna chahiye" and her line was disconnected :)
Another caller called to say sumthing and she said "Rahat ke kitchen mein koi ghalat kaam nahin hota is liye advice ka toh sawal nahin hota"
WHO wud call her?

Okay I saw her on youtube just now...
She needs to :
1) use an oil pot instead of pouring oil from the big can and then spilling it on the worktop.
2) stop touching ingredients with her hands.
3) stop spilling food around from the pan.
4) less self praising talk. Haye

^LOL @ pakistan's first chef. rahat seems like another shahida mini(she has given herself the title of Melody Queen). as far as I can remember Kokab Khawaja was the first chef who got popular on tv.

It amazes me that she once spoke of being a certified Chef from the USA yet If you watch her cook you certainly wouldn't think any of her methods are of a certified standard. She will make the silliest of mistakes that even rookies wouldn't.

I get the impression that Chef Rahat doesn't take into consideration ANY criticism constructive/beneficial or otherwise. I've heard people say that if viewers call her show live and criticize her or question her cooking methods......SHE GOES OFF on them , SHE SNAPS AT THEM ON THE SHOW!!!!!!!!!! It would be nice if she could take a look at all the things people are saying......because they are all complaining about the SAME things/mistakes she makes. And she could think to herself, "Man, if everyone is compalining about the SAME things, then I should maybe change myself and make this show better." Problem is I don't think she would consider the criticism. I doubt she would change. ULTA, aik GS ka screen name bana kar humain daantay gi!!!!!!!!Who knows Rahat Aunti might start a thread to bash the crap out of us.........or she might start a thread using a fake ID and start praising herself!

ya i think we should do that.... all of us send this link to geo...... and get her show off the channel............ she is giving out such a wrong message out to ppl. and send it to Azfar Mani too....... so they can dis her on thier show.... like they do for Aalim online!! lolzz :P
today my mom was telling that she made finger fish which looked more like fish ka halwa!!! the pav bhaji she made was a mess..... her pavs were breaking,,,,,, and she was so unorganized!!!
today she was telling about the months in which u should not eat fish..... "which have R in them" and was like...... "wisaye tu saab ki zindagi main "R" means a lot......" my mom was like ya after chef rahat will pass away we will also go with her... in her ghum!!!!
She says "Rahat ke kitchen mein kabhi koi ghalat kaam nahin hota is liye critisize karna ka sawal nahin uth ta!"

When rahat started her career from Indus-Vision channel, my mother used to watch her show.
aur ussi time se Rahat yehi kehti thi Callers se ke "meine bahar se seekha hai", aur Rahat phir English bolna start, ussi se pata chal raha tha ke Rahat jhoot bol rahi hai.
Aur yeh bhi kehti thi ke meine(Rahat ney) chinese Foods mein Award jeeta hai.
Yeah Right, Karachi ke kisi mamuli se Institute se Award jeet liya hoga.
Agar Rahat yeh Fazool batein na karey, aur Cooking per dheeyaan dey, To i think Zada bhetar hoga.

in the last show in which she made fish biryani. why are the cooks /chefs complaining about each other. she is rude and she is not potraying a good image by talking about others all the time.

see here in u.s.a you never hear a chef talking bad about other chefs. everyone has there own way.
all she is talking useless back biting about other chef's. she need to straighten her ULOO FIRST.

That's what I mean. The chefs in the US concentrate more on professional technique and they are more down to earth....and HUMBLE. They understand that entertaining the audience is important while cooking, BUT they tend to do it in a natural way (except for Emeril, and Rachel Ray in my opinion) and don't act over the top.
Maybe deep down Rahat is really insecure and that's why she feels the need to constantly remind the viewers that she is the most professional cook, and that you can learn cooking best from nobody but her. When you are a celebrity (movie star, sports player, politician, even a chef), you need to have self-confidence because you are constantly being scrutinized by the public and you can't always let their judgments break you down. BUT with rahat, the self-confidence is OVERDONE. And it ends up turning people off.
