I can't stand how she always says this recipe is by "chef rahat"! She really snapped at a caller that said her baking cakes in tin pans wasn't healthy! OMG i saw that show where she snapped at the caller! horrifying manners, and she has done that quite a few times. i thought she'd be the one to go instead of farah khan because there were rumours that they were not getting along being in the same network.

WOW!!!!!! I missed out on the episode, where she snapped at a caller. My mom told me that during one episode, she received either a call or maybe a letter from someone living in the US. I don't remember what the viewer's concerns or comments were. But my mom said that Rahat snapped saying something along the lines of "Tu America main rehti hai, par tujh main aqal to hai nahin." I don't know if she worded it exactly like that, but YIKES!!!!!!!! I watch the American Food Network.....and I feel that Rahat needs to watch it as well. Because the chefs on the Food Network.....and I admit that some of them can be annoying such as Rachel Ray and Bobby Flay and Emeril.........BUT they are all so professional not only in technique but also in behavior. You don't see them calling themselves by their first name. There is outward portrayal of HUMILITY (even if it might be fake). Sometimes I wonder if Rahat has a Narcissistic Personality Disorder because she cannot help praising herself at all. To enhance her professional development, she should watch other cuisine shows and see how the "professional" chefs REALLY conduct themselves in front of the cameras!

i can't stand rahat also, i watch her show only when i am board and have nothing else to watch because she entertains also, i don't watch her show for the recipe, i take her show like people take cartoon. lol.
i also hate the way she praise her self, it seems like that before she started her cooking show we used to eat raw meat and vegetable, and cooking begin with her. this is exactly how she exaggerate her self.
what made me really mad few weeks ago when she was telling how to do aata for paratha, and she said 'kisi ki ammi nay aisay nahi sikhaya ho ga" i was like, what? what is she suppose to mean by that, kiya ham ataa pani mai ghool kay peetay thai pehlay??

Farah's recipe's turn-out better.. I stopped listening to Chef Rahat after the 'Paii logon" said that chapati's and paratha's don't need to be round.. she made kabab's once that fell apart and she said "taste important hota hai shape nahin"
**I felt the overpowering urge to start a thread on CHEF RAHAT. For those of you that are familiar with her show, what do you think of her? I think that Chef Rahat is knowledgeable, has a lively personality, and presents a wide range of recipes not only limited to Desi cuisine. She also is cordial and polite to her callers and provides numerous health related tips for her viewers.
HOWEVER........in my opinion, there are some things that she can work on to improve her show.....**

ya farah's awaz is annoying but rest she is very good..... her table presentations are very creative and helpful!!
rahat sirf apna ullu seedha karti hai!!! she doesnt even follow the basic asol of kitchen!! "to wash every thing before eatting it" all are veggies arent washed.... not even onions and garlic and ginger...... coz according to HER..... they are protected naturally!!! what the hell!??!?! what about the metti and aall the chemicals sprayed on them!!!???
i hate the part when she keeps calling her directors and cameramen...... she is such a chichori!! act according to ur age woman.... u are not a teenager!!! grrrr

^^^ yes it is highly recomended to wash your fruits and veggies before consuming them....... doesn't matter how thick their skin is..... they are waxed and there is a just amount of chemical put on them to increase their shelf life, and for sure they are coming from soil.... so thats there as well...... u dont want to eat that all ........... plus there can be any kind of bacteria on it.... on both ur hands... and the peels... which can be transfered........ so its best to wash them.........

i agree with alot of u guys as in, its very annoying when she goes...NEMAK instead of NAMAK...n the way she says tomato or potato....i find it very childish, she should grow up and act her age...
I also hate the fact where she goes on and on praising herself...how good she is, only i can teach/tell you this recipe/tip...as in like LADY STOP ACTING SO BIG!!!...

as far as I can remember Kokab Khawaja was the first chef who got popular on tv.
