Chart Your Workout Progess Thread

Re: Chart Your Workout Progess Thread

One trick may be the following: do your warm-up indoors. It could be anything from some stretching, 5-10 min of aerobics or stand-in place walking, or even a treadmill or stationary bike. Wear enough layers, protect the tips (hands, ears, head with cap) and you are all set. By the time you step out, you are warmed up, and good to go.

Never let the weather come in the way.

Re: Chart Your Workout Progess Thread

Re: Chart Your Workout Progess Thread

This is true buddy..but if it is like minus -10C with windchill of -20C to -40C... and if anyone lives in Canada or Northern States. You wouldn't be saying this. Just saying generally!

Re: Chart Your Workout Progess Thread

^ agreed - this was a general suggestion - always there will be outliers - in that case - membership in a gym would be warranted

Re: Chart Your Workout Progess Thread

i'm 4 pounds below my ideal weight for my height but i have to start working out again so i can lose 5 more pounds in order to be at the lowest healthy weight for my height....it's winter feeling crappy so i'm making a promise to myself that i'll be on that treadmill again on thursday so i can make it to that 116 pounds

Re: Chart Your Workout Progess Thread

Nisha you can loose 5lbs in no time if you start working out. Wish you best!

Re: Chart Your Workout Progess Thread

xtron i've been working out and i'm at a good weight, i'm just being obsessive about it a bit and i want to get to that lowest weight on that chart for ideal weights, this weeks been busy at work so no treadmill for this week, will get to it on friday though, love working out, it's my time to relax :-)

Well either way it is awesome to workout. Now you don't want to get toned or do you?..

Re: Chart Your Workout Progess Thread

^i'm toned including those areas that were problem areas b4, the one other area is the lower back, which exercise do you think is the most effective without using any of those expensive machines used in the gym? i have a 10 pound dumbbell...

Re: Chart Your Workout Progess Thread

Well girly..that is awesome!. For lower back try what this fella is doing.

Now this is the exercise you can do at home eh!. Nevertheless very good workout and targets especially your lower back.

Re: Chart Your Workout Progess Thread

50 min on exercise bike at various resistances, some sit-ups

Re: Chart Your Workout Progess Thread

thanks, i have already done loads of back exercises from youtube but i just thought i would go right to you since you’re one of those body builder types you would know best which is the most effective… i’m hoping this one has given you good results

i already do like 90 situps every day, thinking of increasing that number soon though, i only have an entry level job thus far since i finished with classes like a couple months back so can’t really afford a bike, already have a treadmill
