Who remembers this car? Wasn’t this like the affordable “Sports Car” in Pakistan?
I don’t know much about it, but the model from the mid 80’s looked really nice, especially the Charade Detomaso and the Blanca. What exactly was so good about the Detomaso other than looks?

Daihatsu Charade. It was the only diesel engine in cars its size.

i dont know abt alto but we fit 13 (no kidding) ppl in our mitsubishi lancer :p [the trunk was empty]
i reckon alto can fit 11 max
in both cases: including driver

not just that but most of nanYal (which is in khi) is extremely SKINNY so that helps as well 
btw we once got stuck in a pathrao and laathi charge (by haray imamay walay maulana fazulr rehman grp) in laaloo khet with abt 10 ppl in our car

more exciting stories: in grade 6th in pindi i had to share the back of a suzuki pickup on quite a long ride with a bakri :halo:

front seat: my cousin (who is extremely skinny) + me (i was very skinny then too)
back seat: my younger bro, maamoon, momani, mom, rest cousins (al my female cousins in nanYaal used to be very very skinny, like the phoonK maro toh uR jayein type)
