Do you think certain aspects of law need to be changed? Why?
Re: Changes
Which law ?
Re: Changes
THe law of the country that you live in. It could be anything: criminal, tort, land, equity etc
Re: Changes
I do not know about any other law , but certainly I wish some traffic laws need to be changed for the state I live in.
Re: Changes
yes i want more freedom for women int the country where i live in
Re: Changes
The authorities can certainly revisit divorce settlement. Mr X is worth millions, then his partner after divorce legally challenges for her right of some of the share from Mr X's money! Ludicrous!!

Marital rapists are punished. After the case of R v. R, it was established that it is possible for a husband to rape his wife. Before this case this aspect wasn't classed as a criminal offence.
In some areas of the UK, the number of foreign people being arrested has more than doubled in the last few years. In the space of one year, arrests of foreign people for drink-driving offences has increased 17 times.
is it mainly because of these new EU member states ?

Law is the same for everyone it doesn't matter whether you are a foreigner or not. Different laws do apply to people from countries that come under the EC in terms of work etc. Foreigners do have laws to protect them from discrimination such as Article 39 EC.
Drink driving is taken seriously, perhaps the number of arrests have increased as drivers are becoming exceedingly reckless (esp. foreign drivers :p)
Well , the huge number of stabbings that have been recently reported by the media media love to spread the message of doom and gloom and portray areas like Brixton as a no go area] are ALL gang-related.
That’s why all the victims are more or less the same age and live in the same sort of areas.
Stay away from Stratford, Finsbury Park, Turnpike Lane, Hood Green and Bermondsey and ya will be fine mate ![]()
Or it may got something to do with different speed limit…
Okay fair enough if some one is coming from Sweden , where official limits : 50 km/h in built-up areas, 70 km/h outside and 110 km/h on motorways.
Almost same as UK , if my memory aint dogdeing me here
But The default speed limit for Dutch motorways (autosnelwegen) is 120 km/h (75 mph)
And what about germans
Where in 2006, 57% of the German motorways had no speed limit at all
And also occasionally, different units of speed measurement are used on each side of a border ..
Let me give you an example, Northern Ireland uses miles per hour (mph) for speed limits and miles for distance, whereas the Republic of Ireland uses kilometres per hour (km/h) for speed limits and kilometres for distance.
So we cant really say that the motoring laws are same all over the europe …
Re: Changes
Each Member State has their own driving rules and regulations
Each Member State has their own driving rules and regulations
So when we talk about The Greater Europe .. such laws .. shant be they same ?
P.s: don’t listen to Aliyish , he is just a half baked lawyer :D
