hahaha good one...

Re: Changes in GS administration

If someone starts a thread they should be able to delete posts posted within that particular thread. Sometimes people post inappropriate things and even when you re trying to have a serious conversation someone always comes in and messes it up and I think it would be better because we wont have to rum after mods to delete the posts or closing threads ... cause the closing part will get eliminated altogether

Re: Changes in GS administration

Deletion of a post by user can create discussion problems. Especially if someone says one thing, and after a while deletes it altogether, then how will action be taken against he/she? How can anyone discuss a point of view, when the poster deletes it altogether and denies posting it. ??? Moreover, what if the thread-starter deletes a post simply because it has constructive criticism or doesn’t agree with the thread-starter or other posters? Where will the difference of opinion be?

Edit option is available and it is available for each post for upto 24 hours after something has been posted. After that one must contact a moderator. And besides your moderators are there to assist you, and they do not mind.

Often we do say things in the moment of heat, and it is understandable; however, one should think of the consequences before embarking on such. It’s called discipline. I know what you’re trying to say, and it’s a valid concern, but i think the system as it is on that aspect works just fine. IMHO.

PS: Use the report button
It expedites your complaint/comment regarding any post.
