but @least in that 1 the panda was cute
now I can’t decide whether 2 waste money on it or not

Chandni Chowk to China
I happened to watch the new bollywood flick "Chandni Chowk to China" yesterday and was shocked by something I observed. In the starting of the movie the guy is wearing a locket with three pendants, a cross, a hindu god and the word "Allah". In one of the scenes they show the guy falling on the ground and the only pendant that sticks out and is actually touching the ground is "Allah". The other two pendants could not be seen. I found that very disturbing and offensive. Was this another ones of bollywood attempt to disrespect Islam?

Over the years I have noticed the tendency in bollywood to defame Islam. Things like:
Showing most gang members are muslims with a white skull cap and a taveez especially the pimps.
The funny thing is no one seems to voice a concern over this.

ps. it is better not to wear ism-e-ALLAH SWT cuz of expected humiliation, so if this movie has showed that then they are real idiots.
besides i have noticed that mostly loafer-wannabe kinda guys wear these pendants

Well it certainly looked like that because just for that particular scene the other two lockets seemed to dissappear. Why was that?
But anyways I agree with Punching Monk's comment. They can't really harm God by doing this and if they did this on purpose they are only fooling themselves.

Although I havent seen the movie yet, it seems the first scene was a way to establish the guy's secular credentials. This is not the first time Hindi movie heroes have been shown to be secular. The second scene could be due to camera angle or just plain carelessness.
I think you are reading too much into the scenes, and should just chill !!

if people are critiquing a movie, along with what makes them a block buster, and what makes them bomb on box office then it is actually favoring the artists and directors and the entire team to come up with the better ideas, Next Time!
ps. we don't just criticize hindi movies, but also Pakistani (majority are total crap), and hollywood flicks.
