If the play is called off, as it seems to be the case, both teams will get one point. With that Aus will have 3 points and India 1. Aust will have to lose and lose badly to Pakistan for India to have any chance.
Cruel world. :p

19.15 Supersoppers working in vain. Honestly, there is no chance of play happening, because so much water has gathered. They will need at least an hour to get the ground ready, so in all honesty the real cut off time is about 20.15.

IS where are you getting these updates from? Crickinfo?
Re: Champions Trophy - Australia v India - Sep. 28, 09

`And they are your brothers from another mothers’… ![]()
From the pictures that I have just seen on GEO (the ground is literally water-logged) I think it is safe to say that there will be no further play today
And for once all of India will be praying for a Pakistani victory against Australia day after tomorrow :D.....the only way that India can qualify now
alright just saw the latest update. It is still raining @ 7:20 local time and and the ultimate cutt off is 9:20 after which the play will be called off. Even if the rain stops within the next hour it will be a miracle to start the game by 9:20.
Looks like India and Australia will be a sharing a piont each. Which means Pakistan will go the semi final tonight.
It also means that Pakistam must win their game against Aussies if India has ti qualify for the semi finals. However India also need to win their game against Windies.

Congrats to all Pakistanis. Even if India wins against WI, India will not get into final two b/c Pakisan has already has already 4 points.
I hope, match will resume and India will kick some australian a$$.
