I thought what matters is wickets... the gap in their averages and strike rates is much bigger than the economy rates. Poor Pakistani fielding also contributes to high economy rates of Pakistani bowlers.
I am sure Waqar's record would have been much much better if he played for, say, south africa in those times.
And you think Indian fielding is much better ??
