I thought what matters is wickets… the gap in their averages and strike rates is much bigger than the economy rates. Poor Pakistani fielding also contributes to high economy rates of Pakistani bowlers.

I am sure Waqar’s record would have been much much better if he played for, say, south africa in those times.

Australians were 177 in 40th over against WI, an then they scored another 100 odd runs in their total

i am not sure about wickets.. but the situation is much worse for India, Australia can score 330+, and with the bowling attack they have.. it will take hell of effort to chase
