Cmon guys, under pressure catches do get dropped by even the best fielders.

The thing is that our batting is pathetic, we have to admit that. Had it not been for Amir and Saeed, the match would have been over long time ago.

Bowlers played well, fielding was generally ok.
NZ was better side today and won.

Anyway for me, the team is still hero as they kicked some indian a** earlier, that was THE match I wanted to win, hehehe.

Narkumar you are right. It does not matter which is the better team, what matters is how you perform on the field in a match! Pakistan just did not perform today!

I wouldnt say NZ played well, I would say that we played more badly... Anyhow congrats to them... A lot of wrong decisions, bad batting and pretty much fielding and the freaking overstepping caused us a lot..... Umer and Rana needs to get their rhythm right...

It was a nice game. :) Pakistan did well too.. but someone has to win and other has to lose.

We need to improve in fielding. Rest was OK.

well played NZ! tough luck Pakistan - a couple of turning moments including Umar Akmal's dismissal and Younis' dropped catch.

It was overall a decent tournament for Pakistan, so even though I'm disappointed at today's game, I'm not too upset.

our batsmen need to do some serious introspection though...

Shoaib Malik should have continued bowling when he gave away just 9 runs in three overs. It was brilliant effort but Younis missed the trick at that moment. spin would have made the difference here.

I beg to differ. Even though he is ordinary in batting, he is a very clever captain!
Afridi as vice is doing fine and would also make a good captain.
