Yes. Despite the defeat, Pakistan was awesome in this tournament. They have all the ingredients to be a really top notch team barring some frequent indisciplines.

This should be an easy win for Australia in the final. :)
OMG, suddenly the umpiring is bad :)
It was pretty good when it benefited Pak...
Admit it
When did it benefit pak? Are you still mulling over that Raina's dismissal dude? That was out.
Today at least three decisions went against us.
Admitting Pakistan did not play well when it mattered.
I think we shud blame amir and ajmal batting that has given us hope and made us watch a dead match
You are so damn right..
I still think Pakistan is the better team ![]()
Re: Champions Trophy 2nd Semi-Final: Pakistan v New Zealand - Saturday Oct 3, 2009
It was a good match anyway. Even though a little spoiled by that ba****d Simon Teufel (Devil).
He still got a hung on for not getting the umpire of the year and today we saw why that decision was correct!!!
Anyway well played NZ and Pak team.
(
dude umer akmal was playing sooooo well when he was given out. he and afridi could make the score go upto 270+ the way umer akmal was playing pakistan could make a very very good total.

Nope, its Younis and Rana.
Younis and Rana not nearly as much a culprit as the batsmen, especially Yousuf. As NZ and our own tail-enders showed, there were no demons in the wicket. Our batsmen played, stupidly, selfishly, without a game plan. Yousuf with all his experience, should've known that when it's difficult to hit the ball for boundaries, you should always keep the singles and twos ticking. There's no excuse for wasting all the balls without putting up enough runs on the board.
Re: Champions Trophy 2nd Semi-Final: Pakistan v New Zealand - Saturday Oct 3, 2009
Pakistan has never heard of the concept of fieldingā¦PERIOD ! ![]()
Re: Champions Trophy 2nd Semi-Final: Pakistan v New Zealand - Saturday Oct 3, 2009

Re: Champions Trophy 2nd Semi-Final: Pakistan v New Zealand - Saturday Oct 3, 2009
i dunno who to blame.. they're all to blame :(
Re: Champions Trophy 2nd Semi-Final: Pakistan v New Zealand - Saturday Oct 3, 2009
No they do know the concept of fielding and at times have fielded really well and bowled really well as well but today was just not our day I guess. Both England and Pakistan are out now, no one to support.
No one has disputed that.
The fact remains that āThe Team that played Better today wonā.
It is always the Team which plays better wins.
Be that as it may, Well Played Pakistan!
