the 1st of this week's Semi-finals are tonite, with Barcelona hosting Chelsea, my prediction 1-1.

so Guus Hiddink tactical show continues with a hard-earned goalless draw against Barcelona. Next week promises to be a special encounter!

gunners looked shaky especially in defense.
I was hoping for a 1-1 draw atleast with an away goal it would been a good position to be in but now well, second leg has to be really good.

You predicted the wrong score. I turned over from EastEnders and the score was already 0-2 to Man U. 2 Goals in 11 minutes. :(

Current score, Chelsea 1 - 0 Barcelona. Essien volley just outide the penalty area giving the blues the lead, for all Barcelona's possession they have'nt really tested Cech, seems like they're more bothered about trying to score the perfect goal.

looks like a united chelsea final right now
Barca have more finesse and I wonder what the game would be like if they equalise, or had chelsea not scored the goal.
right now they have most of the possession and they are making some nice passes but just unable to convert.
if they do score though, its all over for chelsea because of how defensive they are right now just protecting that one goal lead if barca scores it will be an away goal for them..chelsea need to net one more atleast to have some relief.

completely amazed at how much possession barca have. If chelsea keep this defensive posture up and give that much possession and that close to the goal to barca, barca will score.
chelsea just wants to protect that one goal, aside from some fast breaks, I have seen nothing threatening from chelsea in some time

I may be in US but am still a brit. and closer too footie than most having played for uni and then regional leagues.
I grew up supporting 2 teams, united and arsenal, back then their rivalry was less with each other and more with liverpool and spurs respectively which puts me in a strange spot now.
today I am supporting chelsea..and for final I will be supporting united.
