well well well, there have been some very intriguing results and Im looking forward to the matches in two weeks’ time.
Of course, the most entertaining of them all has to be the Ferguson vs Mourinho. Something tells me Inter will sneak this one.
Apart from that, we have Chelsea with new boss Hiddink taking a one-goal lead to Turin.
Surprisingly Barca were trailing Lyon for long periods of the game till a late Henry equalizer. The return leg can go either way, although Barca have home advantage. Liverpool beat Real 1-0 in Madrid and are looking good to go through.
another quick fire two goals from messi and Eto give Barcelona 4-0 half time lead, now leading 5-1 on aggregate, we can pretty much say this tie is over.
What Liverpool did to Real Madrid in the return leg on Tuesday was out of the ordinary. A club of Real Madrid's stature was blown away and totally humbled by a 4-0 drubbing.
gunners squeeked by on penalties, and some shootout it was.
but the liverpool toyign with Real was too good, and then they did a 4 goal number on united in premier league. Liverpool has all cylinders going and just when it counts it seems
Since am a Man u supporter am only gonna opinion my view on Man u ..
Although man u drew ..i think like firgie said .. he made his boys played two big matches in 3 days and this tired them out .. but they still got away with it …
now heres what i think ..since ther is a record at porto that no british team has beaten porto at home.. now i think man u second leg will be tough cos porto will have to defend the record and man u will be pushing hard with all man power for a victoryy .. so i think it will be a tough one ..but i think man u wil do it .. and come out on top ..
and i wudnt mind a man u v byren munich Final just to repeat some history
As good as liverpool have been of late, i don't see them scoring the 3 they need without conceding, in recent weeks Chelsea have been improving of late under Hiddink.
Bye bye liverpool for another season.
As for Man Utd, i see them winning their tie in Porto, much has been said that no english club has won at Porto, well same could be said that Porto have never WON on english soil, so indeed it makes for a fascinating game.
