Champion League

actually there is a difference:

the ‘home’-club is allowed to sell more tickets to its fans.
so in one match the AC supporters will dominate, in the other the Inter supporters

and AC calls its stadium: San Siro
Inter calls the same stadium: Guisseppe Meazza

:mudhosh:

Juventus - Real Madrid this Tuesday

any predictions? :)

Juventus 1 - Real Madrid 3

:hula:

INSHALLAH

with Del Piero among their ranks, i wouldn't be surprised if Juventus can come up with a surprise

my prediction: 2-2

**Real won the first leg :dhimpak: 2-1 **

Ronaldo scored a beauty in first half, equalized by trezeguet in 45th minute… then in second half Roberto carlos hit a lightening goal to gain a one-goal cusion before the secong leg…

I really enjoyed Zidane’s performance!

did u see that spin (in the 1st half) with which he avoided 2 tackles and to set up a counter attack?

yep  i did… he was almost back to his best…
btw did you see ronaldo’s spin, dodge and pass to morientes in the first half which morientes shot wide???

yes in the beginning of the second half, it was juve who were on top and wasted some real scoring oppurtunities... Real actaully is the best attacking unit but thier defence is actually quite shaky. They wasted some oppuriunties ot increase the lead in the later second half.

milan 0 - inter 0

a pretty boring game with few chances. both the teams were too cautious. not many chances for either side. but the spirit of the game was great. ** NO CARDS** shown. a very clean game but pretty dull..

I thought the game would get a little rough close to the end, especially with the local Derby for the first time in the Champions League.

AC Milan held Inter contained throughout the game, but still chances for every team. Pretty boring, with a lot of action happening only in the middle. AC Milan needs to fix up their defense, even Maldini was making mistakes!

Let’s go Real!! I can’t wait to see Zidane setting up a great play to Raul for the Goaaaaaaaaalllllll.

both teams played poorly...but Inter played more negative than AC.

hope the final will be Real-Milan

the 2 most successfull teams in Champions League history

tuesday

Internazionale Milan - AC Milan

the serie A has been decided, both inter and AC have champions league spots for next season. for inter this is the only chance to get a trophy this season.
having the 'home'-advantage this time around.

they miss one key-player Vieri (topscorer in SerieA). But still have enough fire-power up front
just hope Cuper doesn't start with negative tactice like in the first match

AC milan also have the domestic Cup-final to play.
missing key midfielder Pirlo.
a good sign for them would be that they had the better of the play in the first leg.

AC Milan reach Champions League final](http://uk.sports.yahoo.com/030513/80/dzxey.html)

MILAN (Reuters) - AC Milan have drawn 1-1 with city rivals Inter to reach the Champions League final.

Andriy Shevchenko gave AC Milan the lead in their second leg semi-final at the San Siro stadium on the stroke of halftime but Obafemi Martins equalised with seven minutes left.

AC Milan, who were the away side on Tuesday, went through on the away goals rule. The first leg had ended 0-0 last week.

In the final on May 28 they will play either Real Madrid or Juventus who meet in Turin on Wednesday with the Spanish side leading 2-1 after the first leg.

although technically dull, it was an exciting match to watch. both teams were equal.................and in the end a nice result

final:

AC Milan - ???

most likely Real :hula:

this match was excsiting in the end and very ironic that AC milan got through to the final on an away-goal on thier home turf :hehe:

From some magical stuff to some 3rd League football presented by REAL MADRID!
This is the worst performance so far in the Champion League by REAL.

Poor performances by many but these players dont even deserved it to play today: FIGO, GUTI, CONCESIAOU!!

Well its a pity when watching players like Zidane who tried to do something, have to leave the CUP this way!
I JUST COULDNT UNDERSTAND DEL BOSCEs starting line up, nor why FIGO got a chance to shoot the penality kick! I didnt even needed to watch and I was pretty sure he would miss it!
He is out of form!

And I have to add here...the umpiring problems that occured at WC 2002 appeared here again.....This guy from Swizterland should have shown the player who commited the foul against Ronald at least a yellow card.
But that does not justify the very poor play by REAL!
