looking forward to the mathes...........and with Pi-Air in the team Feyenoord may well pull out a surprise :D

Umer u were right!

Newc 0-1 Feyenoord :k: :k:

:hula:

Wow! Two of my predictions were absolutely right! :hula:

Newcastle v Feyenoord 0-1
Club Brugge v Lokomotiv 0-0

suttay baaz

final results:

Juventus v Dynamo 5-0
Newcastle v Feyenoord 0-1
Leverkusen v Man. United 1-2
M. Haifa v Olympiakos 3-0
Deportivo v Milan 0-4
Lens v Bayern 1-1
Club Brugge v Lokomotiv 0-0
Galatasaray v Barcelona 0-2

surprise result of the day Haifa defeating Olmypiakos
i guess Man U are sure to go thru to the next round...

:k:

some great matches and a LOT of goals!!! :k:

my comments:

Juventus-Kiev 5-0
Juventus showed that Italian cluns are getting back at where they used to be: at the top!
5-0 goals, two of them were really good (Davids, Nedved). With a player like ‘Prince’ Alessandro Del Piero among them they are alomst certain to go a long way in this yr’s competition.

Newcastle-Feyenoord 0-1
great victory. showing that feyenoord’s UEFA cup triomph last year wasn’t a lucky shot

Leverkusen-ManU 1-2
hopefully this will mean a turn-around for Van the Man, who has been struggling so far, as ws the whole team. good work :k:

Haifa-Olympiakos 3-0
3 points, good job, but it will be interesting to see who will be second in this group.

Deportivo-Milan 0-4
shock of the day! Pippo Inzaghhi scoring his 3rd, 4th and 5th goal in two matches. Milan with players like Maldini, Nesta at the back, Rui Costa, Rivaldo in midfiled and Inzaghi and Shevchenko in attack are in my opinion qualititively seen not less than Real Madrid. Let’s see how their mentality holds.

Lens-Beyern 1-1
dull match, fair result

Brugge-Moskow 0-0
same as above

Galatasary-Barcelone 0-2
nice match. a bit of upset…Barcelona seems to have found their rhythm back

I'm glad that Bayern and Bayer keep quite this time very quite...hehe.

Well lets hope Real Madrid does it again. The MAGIC touch!
With Ronaldo they should be the most attacking club team of this year.

^ur right, but if the mentality holds i think Ac milan and juve are equal in talent to Real :k:

as already mentioned, milan with players like:
nesta, maldini, rui costa, seedorf, rivaldo, inzaghi, shevchenko

juve with
buffon, thuram, montero, davids, zambrotta, nedved, del piero, trezeguet, di vaio

they are up to the challenge i think.

True, but not all of them you mentioned are attacking players or hardcore fowards. I hope you know what i mean.

Just hope that AJ Auxere kickz Borussias butt. :)

last results:

Inter-Ajax 1-0
Lyon-Rosenborg 5-0
PSV-Arsenal 0-4
Borussia-Auxerre 2-1
Real-Genk 6-0
Athene-Roma 0-0
Spartak-Valencia 0-3
Liverpool-Basel 1-1

again a lot of goals :k:

Arsenal all the way!! :k: :k:

Basel is doing surprisingly well in the Champions League! :k:

tonight:

Bayern Munchen - AC Milan
Deportive - Lens
ManU - Olympiakios
Haifa - Leverkusen
Galatasaray - Brugge
Lokomotiv - Barca
Feyenoord - Dynamo
Juventus - Newcastle

My predictions!

tonights winners:

AC Milan (PLZ WIN! :D )
Deportivo
ManU
Leverkusen
Galatasaray
Barca
Feyenoord
Juventus

Bayern München - AC Milan 1-2 (Yuhuuuuuuu! :hula: )
Deportivo La Coruna - Lens 3-1 (:hula: too, because that decreases Bayern’s chances of advancing)
Manchester United - Olympiakios 4-0 (Hmmm. Nothing surprising here.)
Maccabi Haifa - Leverkusen 0-2 (Doesn’t really bother me.)
Galatasaray - Brugge 0-0 (Galatasaray should have won, but this is ok too.)
Lokomotiv Moscow - Barcelona 1-3 (Congrats to Lokomotiv for scoring a goal. :D)
Feyenoord Rotterdam - Dynamo Kiew 0-0 (Sorry my Dutch friends, but it wasn’t a win this time. :()
Juventus - Newcastle 2-0 (Newcastle is in serious trouble now.)

Yahooo BAYERN BAYERN BUUUU!!! haha

Well I got it almost right :)
