Chameleons or Character-less?

issi liye dal mai kuch kala tha.

Re: Chameleons or Character-less?

like others have pointed out, I would say the people are versatile and flexible.
people dont have one personality, they have different aspects with some key themes, different aspects of personality are more or less visible depending on occassion.

characterless? hardly.. i would actually say they have more developed personalities and characters than the one dimensional personality of someone who is the same regardless of people, circumstances, occassion or role.

With all due respect.

One dimensional personality make this world go around.
Multiple aspect personalitty take advantage of "that world" (One of the reason I did not finish MBA).

Beside there is no personality checker on the door. Every one can walk in.
An intellectual with drinking problem is not a superior intellectual.
How ever a mathematician with few short circuit(in the brain) plus certain kind of color blindness is surely an owner of a superior brain.
People who like to twist thing there way can say "it all depends on individual"
Being lose around the edges doesn't make any one more...hmmmm...perceptive to ideas.
It does not make you more innovative in any way.

How ever creative ppl(with unconventional thinking patterns) usually screw up there lives and end up find happiness in those places/activities.

(I am not a mullah; I have extensively done drugs)

PlayStaion: Sorry If you think its not too realated too the topic.(I think it is)

Re: Chameleons or Character-less?

everyone has different aspects or facets of what makes them, there are those who can successfully evaluate a situation and emphasize ro deemphasize certain aspects of their personality, there is nothing wrong with that.

we all do it to some level, people are different with their kids than they are with ppl at work.
I dont think I know a single person who is the same way and does not adapt to situation and people

Some pretty good points :k:

Can you elaborate a little on the above part?

Re: Chameleons or Character-less?

I always thought calling someone chameleon was an insult? :konfused:…but I guess not after reading some of the posts.
