True Lucid , but is it worth demeaning ones' self worth to survive ?
not in my view or yours, but perhaps for some, it makes sense - they're simply inflating someone's ego to get to what it is that they want to achieve. I'm sure in most cases, there's an end that these chamchas are working towards.
I want to know when does it become chamcha geeri? Is having an ulterior motive the defining thing that makes it chamcha geeri…The ulterior motive can be looking for a promotion by um brown nosing a boss…but what about when people do it just so that they are on the good side of a person, just so that a person likes them, or get noticed. Who defines that?
okay back to the chamjaa gering the deigh…I just wonder what is in the deigh…better be Zardaa
Inflating someone’s ego..who doesnt like to be told he or she is right…has the perfect set of batees daant…even though there may be only 15 left..
Yes Survival of the fittest is a good term to define it, so basically who masters the skills required to tread the murky waters of office politics or gherailoo politics, who gets a passe, who is ignored etc..
**
its very common in and around Lucknow and Allahabad, India. in most traditional shaadis in those areas have it in their menu. its part of the saatoN khaane [7-item menu] there are small khoyaa balls in zarda…:)**
^ And I'm amazed you didn't speak English until you were a teenager. This is great!
**
lol...not even urdu until i was 15 coz i lived in a village and never ever went to any school until grade 10. i spoke poorbii/bhojpuri zabaan...Allah helped me.**
Btw, I always thought chaploos and chamcha described the same characteristic. Good to know.

its extremely hard to see the difference unless u grew up in the right environment. sometimes, u feel the language and no book will teach u that.**
***Agreeing with someone cause they are right and agreeing with someone blindly just to "please" them or gain their favours or approval are two different things Sara ..........
Like Lucid explained "they're simply inflating someone's ego to get to what it is that they want to achieve."***
