Chain of Prophets (peace be upon them)

Well Haroon (AS) and Musa (AS) were together. So thats ok. I was not sure about Yunus (AS) and Ayub (AS). Maybe they were in different locations.

Also makes me think, that when we read the quranic story about Hazrat Yusuf (AS), we know that Yusuf and Benyamin were real brothers, and then Yaqoub (AS) had seven other sons. These sons actually pushed Yousaf in a well and later on came to Egypt to buy wheat when Yusuf asked them to bring Benyamin.

So is Levi one of those brothers who pushed Yusuf? Turns out Musa (AS) is Levi's great grand-child?

And also another brother of Yousaf is named Yahudza, from whose lineage Dawood (AS), Sulayman (AS) and Isa (AS) came. Is Yahudza also one of those who pushed Yousaf into the well?

This is just out of curiosity, because those brothers of Yusuf are presented as not so nice people. These brothers deliberately pushed Yusuf in a well and lost him. Their father Yaqoub cried so much for his favorite son that he lost his eye-sight.

Pristine is right. Ibrahim alayhisalam’s father was not Azar–he was his uncle. That is also Sunni belief. I am a Sunni

I can confirm one thing as I have been trying to find the info on the issues which people have asked here.

Some historians have described Azar as his father and some have described the other guy (I think it was taraikh) as prophet's father. Muslim scholars differ on this issue. Some scholars have even said that it was just one guy with two different names but Quran has definitely used "Azar" as his father's name.

You know, its very funny to see debate going on about who was the father of Hazrat Ibrahim. Its pretty pathetic. Only God knows who was his father, we have to worry about todays problem where many kids in U.S and western countries are given to foster homes and abandoned by their one-night-stand doing "mothers" because even with DNA advancement and all technological achievments most kids never find out who is/was\were/are there father(s) or how many there were. So please, us debating on issue which occured 5000 years ago is just ridiculous!
