maiN chuN k Muslim areas men zaiyaada rahaa is liye common terms ziyaada sunaa hai magar pure Hindu areas meN yeh bahot kahaa jaataa hai:

“shriman jii, laxmii ke darshan karvaa deN aapkaa kaam ho jaayegaa”

Simple solution to that is to take these people to the nearest temple and they can do all the darshan and puja to their hearts content

and you know, how govt departments work, they want it even if your *kaam *is *jaiz *and within law. so yes it was given.
