Chai and Culture

:chai:

Is the quality of chai (tea) vary from culture to culture?

What do you think is the best chai you had? I don’t like tea, but occasionally have green-tea (thats probably Irani style).

Re: Chai and Culture

Totally love chai and start off my day with it. I used to drink waaaay more back in the days though. Like 10-12 cups a day. LOL And then I found out i had zinc and iron deficiency, which was most likely because of the chai. So am being more careful now. No chai for at least 30 minutes before and after meals for me!

Re: Chai and Culture

try kashmiri chai, because it has a little amount of patti

Re: Chai and Culture

i had seen a tea brand in hyderabad named Isfahani tea

Re: Chai and Culture

where is it? How about masale wali chai and Adrak wali chai? Which communities invented these varieties. I think Chinese were first to introduce tea.

Re: Chai and Culture

Isphahani used to be a popular brand in rural Sindh during 1980s

Re: Chai and Culture
