  2. Unlocked (should work on Cingular)
  3. Priced below $250
  4. Good TXT’ing features
  5. Look cute (this is for a girl)

Nice to have

  1. Camera
  2. Video Recorder
  3. Full QWERTY keyboard
  4. Small form factor

Will probably buy from ebay or Craigslist etc. Do not want a prepaid phone. Will add it to my family plan.

Any suggestions?

have you looked into the firefly?

you’re only allowed to receive calls from certain numbers, and the outgoing calls are only the ones that are programmed into the phone by the parents.

She already has a firefly and doesn't use it. Thats why now I need an unlocked phone! Firefly is cute but is for ultra-small kids :-)

sir jee I knew it is a prank. I have used 6800 for two years. Its very durable and has best keyboard in the world, I could type faster on it than my computer.

Or its latest brother which has a reasonable camera, amazing LCD screen and very fast browser etc. But its a little delicate than 6800.

Sony Ericsson K750i. I got one in pakiland for under $200. On Expansys its slightly higher. Its got everything she could hope for.

Are you sure you are recommending a moto in 21st century. They are the worst phones ever. Software wise, performance wise and connectivity wise.

I know atleast 5 people who bought V3T and RKR and they swear the time that they bought them inspired by TV commercial.

Only Nokia and Sony Ericsson phones are practical phones. Rest are just trailing by 1000s miles and Moto is not even in the race. Thank God I didn't buy L6 or L7 last year, my buddy saved me who insisted to buy Sony phone. The software, features, quality and reliablity is sure same as Nokia.

used 2 work for big mobile network in da uk, only saying which phone most people seemed to have, i have never tried a moto phone. i myself hve samsung
