Did you talk to your dad about how you felt? Sometimes males are like that, they are difficult to talk to. Sometimes it just feels good to be daddy’s little princess and let him know what you want, and have him run and get it for you. Sometimes parents feel that overdoing this can spoil children and they are absolutely right. But if you do not provide any sort of reward than you have no motivation. Yes, getting good grades and getting into a good college is a reward in its own, but once again, you need to have a goal, motivation, something to look forward to.

Try to talk to your mom, but do the same thing, if they say no, walk away, show them how mature you are, and ask again. Don’t worry everything will work out im sure!

i’ve tried telling him i do good in school, and i told him that a cell phone was something that movitated me.

no movitation for me just drops my grades down. it happened twice now when i was younger and it can happen again. what my dad did was only ground me… it only made the situation worse.
