So which celebs you have met? And how has been the whole experience?. And how exactly did you feel about it at that time and what do you feel about it now when you recall it?.

i met salman ahmed from junoon and he was really nice and down to earth
some days back i saw Atif aslam but didnt meet him :P
once i saw adnan sami and i didnt meet him either :P hehehe
ok who else ummmm i have seen a lot of celebs but didnt meet em ;)

well i ve Najam Sharaz, Junaid Jamshed, Shahid Afridi, Abdul Razzaq, Shabaz Sharif.
oh and i ve met Sami Yousaf ...the group Shaam, hamza Yousaf .. the great Martin Lings ..(May Allah bless his Soul)..few other scholars of Islam Including Habib Al Jifri .etc and .i cant remember the new name of Cat stevens obviously now muslim .. :D ..and a few others ..oh i nealy for myself ..:P
Experience was ok.. hanged around Najam sharaz and junaid jamshed for two weeks ..and got to know what they are like as a person away from cameraz.. and same with others .. but Shabaz sharif was an insipiration to me ...cos he werent just being a political figure but he acted out and showed as a normal person and the knowledge he possesed even in terms of Islam ..and went on to do an hour length speech on Islamic Issues ..with no referance to Politics or anything else.. and what i ve learnt from this is that .. having all knowledges is essential ..and above all Islamic Knowledge is even more important ..
and recalling this memory ..it feels good that a famous person has an impact on my life .. where as others also did .like Najam sharaz where he performed for us ..for two weeks and and it was totally islamic ..in which he read his Hamd and through out the two weeks .. he advised and shared pearls of Islamic wisdom with us .. including Junaid Jamshed ... as we all know how he is now ..
so it was all good .. and opposite of this is where i met Abdul Razzaq and shaihid Afridi where their life at that moment was totally worldly and free.. where at A Razzaq, all he was doing was showing off his ferrari ...lol ..and this showed me two sides to a coin as how ppl can be and how they are.

^^ yeh i too met my ownself .. once .. it was a great experience … it was something which is beyond words .. you need gold ink and a platinum pen to write how the experience was ..
but on a serious Note. i ve met the Imam and Khateeb of Al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem / Palestine .. his eminance Sheikh Yousaf mahmud abu Sneina …what a great man .. and experice was just so amazing to be with this great man .. who has been and still is the imam of one of the Greatest mosques in Islam ..for over 40 years .. and MashaAlah May Allah give him long life and Success… and oh i also had the honour to play football with him too .. and mashaAllah he is Good .. he used to be the Captain of a football team when he was in his colege days .. Alhamdolillah had the honour to meet him 3 times so far for two weeks each per visit to the UK..and inshAllah am looking farward to meet him again this year in July.

I met the actor Murad Malik on the plane to Pakistan a couple years back.
We had a little introduction and shook hands. He seemed like a very nice
person.
During the same trip I saw the singer Waris Baig at Liberty Market. He walked right past me, I gave out a little smile, he did not, and kept walking
towards Alfatah. That was it.

yes they r humans like us (well most r) but we r normal people n they r celebs…get the differece? if u r also one of those who dont feel any excitement meeting them or anything different as oppose 2 meeting just anybody…than thats ok too. *Imran Khan *- A true legend and what a huge guy. I was 2 scared to say anything to him but managed to shake his hand & get his autograph.
Haroon - A really nice guy. Met @ the mela and he was very friendly, he came over and spoke for a while.
Wasim Akram - Asked him for his autograph and he said: 'tumhey diya tu sabh ko dena par jaye ga' :hehe]. Fair play to him, there were a lot of people who surrounded him.
Atta ur Rehman - ex Pakistani cricketer / fixer.
Overall a good experience. I didn't overreact and just was calm meeting them. No point in overreacting like some fans do over actors/celebs'.

I have some relatives as celebrities... so met many.... in fact a whole PTV Center karachi back in late 80's in one of my uncle's marriage :)
