You’r problem is that you do not believe that, There is no God but Allah and Mohammad is His Messenger.

Being secular DOES not mean being disrespectful towards any religion… The newspaper is obviously taking the whole thing to far…
Fact of the matter is, if this were a theocracy, such things would be ignored. Imagine if Muslims of Pakistan began disrespectng the religous beliefs of the Hindus and other minorities, no one would care or be surprised…

Sorry you are dead wrong in assuming that muslimsby any means worship the prophet (PBUH).
Muslims do not pray in the name of the prophet as do X-tians.
Muslims do not believe the prophet will save them at the day of judgement.
muslims do not believe that prophet be seen as a man hanging on the cross or .
Muslims do not believe that the prophet IS ACTUALLY God.
Muslims do not believe that that prophet himself has power to heal or rise the dead.
Muslims keep God/Allah separate from the Prophet. (PBUH)

There are different levels and ways to worship (the reverent love and devotion accorded a deity, an idol, or a sacred object). Outside of salvation, the definition is blurry.
Some use the symbol of the prophet on a cross, others prohibit any symbol as they do with God.
Some try to emulate every facet of their prophet including grooming habits, others don't.
Some mix the culture of their prophet with their religion, others don't.
Some worship the virility, masculinity and power of their prophet, some worship the spirituality and salvation.

Its not just the prophet (PBUH), muslims do not like ANY hand made image of anyone, specially those who were close to the prophet (PBUH) himself. So no relation to 'worshiping'. Its the 'real sprituality' what muslims want..without getting any help from the picture or cartoon. let alone a derogatory and insulting cartoon!
Why cant people honestly come up with the denouncing remarks for the newspapaper.
It proves that some non-muslims love to hate muslims........... !

well I’m glad you agree that the flying horse story is absurd. It’s a start.
I’ll say this. Your prophet was undoubtedly a great man, probably one of the greatest that ever lived. But do I believe that God revealed to him the ultimate rulebook for life? No. That would makes no sense whatsoever. God would not deal in the minutiae of what kind of meat you can and can’t eat, which way you have to face while praying, and how short you should trim your pubes. Give Him a little more credit will you.
