Re: Proper response to cartoon

why kick out all their people? what is their fault?

I dont see goras kicking out all muslims because of terror threats. gora lands provide sustenance and support to muslims all over the world....where they get to sit in the masjid and curse the very system that gives them refuge, food, shelter, a job. isnt it amazing?

Re: Proper response to cartoon

:k: dude thats a really good comeback.

like
wow

Re: Proper response to cartoon

While your confidence and arrogance are evident, what else do you base that statement on?

Re: I want to register my protest

Life is no longer precious for some Muslims. They should read Surah Al Rahman with meaning.

Re: Proper response to cartoon

provoke and see...

ps: Tell me one thing, then I will take you to lunch, only if you honestly give me the answer, Tell me is it ok to mock on some religious person? Who is dearer and respectful than any body on earth?

Re: Proper response to cartoon

Re: Proper response to cartoon

guy1. muslims living in america and other gora countries are just as muslims living anywhere else. unless you are saying that living in a certain country makes a person more of a muslim/nonmuslim than the other.
and they are not in my category because i am not muslim :) thought u knew that
secondly there was no need to bring in asma jehangir...but i know you cant resist yourself
third there IS such a thing as GORA muslim too.
finally goras also provide support to muslim countries like pakistan :) lots of it.

Re: Proper response to cartoon

Let me summarize this thread for the sake of those who can't be bothered to read four pages of bak bak.

  1. Our dear friend, underthedome, started the thread to "educate" his muslim friends on what the correct way of protesting the cartoons. Ofcourse, the underlying assumption is that the "mooslems" are so screwed up, they don't even know the right way to protest. Buggers!
  2. Peaceniks joined to say "all violence is bad" : crying: : puking: and all the nice tree-hugging stuff.
  3. Supposedly-reasonable-but-suddenly-turned-violent Faisal then walked into the discussion to pat the violent protestors on the back for pelting the Danish embassy with stones and making a clear point
  4. A few cyber jihadis then patted Faisal on the back for his conversion and bemoaned the utter ignorance of the "white man".
  5. Seminole then decided to join the fun by bringing obscure references to 9/11 and equating protestors with terrorism.
  6. On cross-questioning, Seminole, changed the position and claimed he is merely hypothicating the response of some other morons.
  7. Peaceniks continued to interject with their love parade.
  8. Seminole then (almost) agreed that war is evil, and the protestors are not terrorists. Small victory.
  9. humhaipakistani wanted to know if s/he can print Jesus bombing Baghdad. No one responded, because by that time, they were all blinded by pink panthers pink font.
  10. Todd made his entry by the famous exclamation "Khotay de Khur". UTD is still searching for a verifiable translation.
  11. Seminole and Faisal continued butting heads, regularly interrupted by the infamous pink font. No one was really sure what the heck these two old geezers are harping about. However, Seminole did acknolwedge that it was a bad idea to publish the cartoons. Another small victory.
  12. Underthedome, then floated the idea of having an anti-Osama ticker parade in downtown Jeddah.
  13. At that time, Kaleem, Faisal and UTD started a threesome on whether a person can die by way of cartoon or do you need an ultra-diminished brain capacity. It was concluded that the idea of burning a few more buildings causes constipation to underthedome.
  14. The discussion then diverted to Israel and whether they evacuate a home before killing, or after.
  15. Just when Faisal thought he had clarified the idea of separating terrorism from Islam, the Cyber Jihadi Marine Brigade #420 took over to explain the virtues of Sheikh Osamah.
  16. Underthedome, then made the curious point that no one has a right to kill or hurt another human being. He is still figuring out the ramifications of this statement.
  17. At that time cat-woman entered the discussion to agree with UTD, while Code Red made an entrance to throw anday tamatar (eggs and tomatoes) on Western culture.
  18. humhaipakistan cut-pasted from another thread that no one read. And continued posting cartoons.
  19. At this point, the discussion was arrested and imprisoned by the Armored Corps of the Cyber Jihadi Army.
  20. Shweetdreams and fartguru made their presence felt by heart-stopping references to loss of sleep (for the journalists) and Buddha statues of Afghanistan.
  21. Mehnaz then tried to distance herself from the fanatics in Middle East. She also disowned Dada Abba, Guy1 and Faruk Khan, amongst many others.
  22. Ohioguy made a single entrance to support his American brethren, but was run out of the thread by the Cyber Jihadi Army. He is still Missing in Action. *]Dada Abba then offered to take Seminole for lunch, and Faisal just wasted the last 15 minutes of his percious time, writing up this eye-popping post.

Re: Proper response to cartoon

It was in order to make a point, I insult his mother he gets upset, now how can he think Muslims wouldn't get offended when The Prophet (pbuh) gets insulted.

QED.

Re: Proper response to cartoon

Saud Abdul Aziz used to be on British payroll, once the kingdom was established and Caltex discovered oil, Saud signed longterm defence pacts witht he Americans. That relationship continues till date. It is American, western and Japanese (OECD) purchases of oil that have propelled gulf (Muslim) states from arid deserts to flourishing kingdoms. It was American support to Jamaat e Islami during the 60-70's period which provided both parties with their motive and support.

Ha it not been economic prosperity provided by Amerikee petrodollars, Saudi Wahabi forces wud have been grazing goats and raiding Hajj parties the way used to b4 discovering oil.

People like u need to get a real big bamboo and shove it up your behind for reality checks. Solid nuskha hai, Hakeem-e-Bumbustani

Re: Proper response to cartoon

You cannot use this (highlighted) word Faisal, it is highly offensive.

Oh and thankyou for the summary, although it is still much to long for me to read. I can't believe it only took you 15 minutes.

Re: Proper response to cartoon

Re: Proper response to cartoon

Something i came across!

============================

Iranian newspaper must not publish any cartoons against Holocaust

07-02-2006

Calgary, Canada, Press release of ISCC:

"On behalf of Islamic Supreme Council of Canada (ISCC) and Muslims Against Terrorism (MAT), we urge the Iranian newspaper not to publish any cartoons against Holocaust or against the beliefs of non Muslims.

"It is very disturbing and sad that few Muslims are getting involved in actions that have been forbidden by Qur’an and our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

"In Qur’an Allah has ordered Muslims not to even make fun of false gods of non-Muslims;

“And do not abuse those whom they call upon besides Allah, lest exceeding the limits they should abuse Allah out of ignorance. Thus have We made fair seeming to every people their deeds; then to their Lord shall be their return, so He will inform them of what they did.” (Surah Al An’am, 6:108)

"It is against the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to provoke non-Muslims by insulting their religious, cultural and historical symbols. The only action a Muslim must take when non-Muslims make fun of Islam is to invite them for a dialogue.

"Say: O followers of the Book! come to an equitable proposition between us and you that we shall not serve any but Allah and (that) we shall not associate aught with Him, and (that) some of us shall not take others for lords besides Allah; but if they turn back, then say: Bear witness that we are Muslims.” (Surah Aal-e-Imran; 3:64)

"Therefore, we request the Iranian government and the spiritual leadership of Iran to use their influence and ask the Iranian newspaper not to publish cartoons against Holocaust. Muslims must not do the same what European newspapers did to Muslims. We must rise higher in our conduct. We urge the worldwide Muslim communities to stop violent protests. Violence is against Islam and the teachings of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Violence will hurt Muslims only. We must protest against the Danish cartoons but without violence.

"We also urge the European Union to use its all resources and influences on newspapers and media organizations to stop the spreading of the caricatures of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him). We strongly condemn the further publication of these insulting and offensive Danish cartoons in Ukraine. This spreading of hate and violence must stop

Re: Proper response to cartoon

What do you mean by 'ok'? If you are asking if it is legal, then yes. If you are asking if it can be insulting, then yes again. It happens in the west all the time. Do I agree with it? Usually not.

As far as who is dearer and more respectful, then that is a question that has to be answered by individuals. It is subjective.

P.S. I like Chicken Karahi

Re: Proper response to cartoon

Well, lets look at this.

Forget for a moment the cartoon, and let us focus on the reaction to the cartoon.

Will rioting in the street further our trust and faith in Muslims?

Does rioting in the streets portray effective leadership in the Muslim world?

Will others open their doors to Muslim immigrants?

Will people correlate the current riots with the riots in France last year?

Will rioting encourage further investment in Muslim countries?

Will companies open new branches of corporations in Muslim countries?

Will companies outsource more jobs to Muslim countries?

Will there be more educational and employment opportunities for Muslims as a result of the riots?

Will support for Israel increase?

Do Muslims look more reasonable and intelligent, or more hotheaded and angry?

Are people more inclined to reason and engage with Muslims after the riots?

Now granted, not all of you are out ther burning things. But there are very few voices of reason and leadership here. And no one seems to realize that at some point they have to live in a world that has views that are different than Muslims. People seem to have no concept that there will be far reaching perceptions and consequences to cedeing leadership of your religion to street rabble.

Islam is now completely hijacked.

Re: Proper response to cartoon

Exactly. Lets forget the cartoon (action), and focus on the riots (reaction). Makes perfect sense. After all the aim is just to criticize muslims. Why bring irrelevant topics in the discussion.
