Nor is the retention of the occupied territories somehow a punitive action against the original staes that attacked Israel...it's a good old fashioned land grab. But then, so was Israel itself...unless one wants to think that buying land entitles one to declare independence from the entity that the land was bought from.
Well said. No nation of people in the world would accept recent immigrants declaring their own state on their lands, and the Palestinian's reacted as any others would have.
