32bits was already iinstalld …do i have to try other versions too?

32 bit realtek is not installed if it was installed you would see it in device manager. You need to install it now again , if you think it is installed , install it again.

when i reboot window it has been installed automatically

realtek was not there yesterday , the one you have is a generic window’s driver , the built in sound card does not work with windows 7 standard driver on your laptop , it is a known issue. You have to install that driver manually. show me the screen shot of audio driver’s again from the device driver ,

that is not realtek driver , realtek will have its name attached to it , you have to install that , if that does not work , then tell me which bus goes to your home ?

Install the realtek 32 bit driver again , you have to install it yourself , the restart computer , your sound card will start working , if not then the only way to make it work is to ask help from some geek friend or neighbor.

Lahore is 15,000 miles away from where I am only air bus can take me there. I was thinking to login to your computer remotely over the week end , but I was holding it back as the very last resort. I am glad it got fixed .
