I seriously doubt it, and moreover, it’s part of nature for one animal to consume another. Whether slaughterhouses are humane is another matter entirely, but I doubt we’ll stop eating and craving meat.

I think our future generations will develop food that will taste like meat. Or they will produce meat laboratories where they will grow and produce meat. I really believe future civilizations will be advanced enough to do this and will not need to kill for meat. As weird and unnatural as that sounds, it is a very good possibility.

Why

i would like to not eat meat but its hard when you grow up eating meat and i cannot cook separate meals for my husband and myself. a part of me just feels that its not necessary to eat meat and that we can survive on vegetarian diet. but its much harder to get all your protein intake through vegetarian meals than it is through omnivorous diet.
hopefully one day i can be vegetarian again, i have done it in the past but it seems much harder now.

same here. my husband is a carnivore. i was vegetarian for about almost a year before getting married now he converted me back to being an omnivore..
yes, i also think consuming meat should become illegal and eventually it will.
