LAHORE: Police caught another convict of cannibalism, Mohammad Farman who had fled police earlier on Monday, to be produced in the anti-terrorism court (ATC) today, DawnNews reported.
A day earlier, police arrested one of the brothers, Mohammad Arif and found a child’s body parts at their residence. The other brother, Mohammad Farman, managed to flee before he could be detained.
The two brothers, Arif, 35, and Farman, 30, from the small town of Darya Khan, had dug up more than 100 corpses from the local graveyard and eaten them in the past, police said.
Previously Arif and his brother were sentenced to two years imprisonment after for eating five corpses dug out from a graveyard of the Darya Khan locality in Bhakkar district and were released only last year.
Later, the two were found again to be involved in cannibalism.
Taking notice of the incident, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif called for a report from DPO Bhakkar.

Are cannibals like Jim Corbett’s man eaters? Once they get a taste of human flesh, nothing else compares and they can’t stop?
Man is a type of cannibal too . Human being is a mammal animal who can eat his brother mammals and bird cousins.

My sister is a vegan! I have never been a full vegetarian but would love to stop consuming meat altogether but hasban ji won’t let me. I know at least five more Pakistanis who are vegetarian by choice. I always say to my husband, “our great great grand kids will probably think that their ancestors were too cruel to eat meat. What were they thinking?!” I seriously believe consuming meat will become an illegal and immoral act centuries from now. It will be like how we think of slavery now.

^I’ve read that it’s also done to become dominant over your enemies or to feel closer to your loved ones…depending on if the victim was an enemy or a loved one. But yes, even in the case of black magic…which involves the use off jinns…the magician has to resort to heinous activities.

same here. my husband is a carnivore. i was vegetarian for about almost a year before getting married now he converted me back to being an omnivore..
yes, i also think consuming meat should become illegal and eventually it will.

I seriously doubt it, and moreover, it’s part of nature for one animal to consume another. Whether slaughterhouses are humane is another matter entirely, but I doubt we’ll stop eating and craving meat.
