First i was having an issue about which colour to wear at the wedding, now its about which favours. I Want people to take something back with them to keep n remember, like a little candle in a box. I had favours at the engagment, They were little pouches with choc dragees, I tink most people ate them as soon as they got to the table. So this tym i want them to take something back. But are candles a good idea? (thats all i could think of) And if so where do i get them at a reasonable price???
Hm, you can do that, maybe with yours and hubby's initials on them?
Is it important to do wedding favors? I want to do chocolates or something, nothing extravagant because I would rather spend that money elsewhere. I would give nice presents to my friends, cousins, close family members though.
how many ppl are u having at ur wedding, as the cost for candles favours may be alot, say if you have 250+. i did think of having candles but it worked out too much, perhaps have them only for close friends and family? U can gift them after the wedding with thank you cards.
My Wedding Favors - Unique Wedding Favors - Bridal Shower Favors - The site is full of unique wedding favours ideas but each favour costs $1 or $ 2 making it approximately around Rs 120/= per head. With 400 people it’ll come around Rs 48,000 just for the favours and you have to have stuff to fill inside, too. You can use them if you are based abroad but I am sending the link so that you can get an idea. There are many candle favours there, too.
A friend of mine had gauze bags similar to these but transparent and filled them up with Hershey’s chocholates. All of the party members just loved those. They looked a bit this these:
Gauze pouch idea:
The pouches can be made to look like these little white wedding dressess or use your own wedding dress colours:
