OP- Just because you’re gonna get Canadian citizenship dosen’t mean you’re going to be any less Pakistani. I actually can’t believe you need this explained to you. Seems like you’ve been in Canada a while. Also if you are so bent on this I’m pretty sure you can have your name removed from the citizenship process and the rest of your family gets it not you. If you are so keen on that I’m sure they can do that much for you. There are many in Pakistan who would do alot for this oppurtunity.

and I agree a lot of Pakistanis/Mexicans/Russians etc etc go through so much hassle just to get a green card/citizenship.
