First of all Honor killing is NEVER endorsed by Islam. It is strictly forbidden.

Second, honor killing is not limited to Muslim socieities only. This happens every where and by people of all other religions... in Hindu india, Christian West.. etc.

You will always find some crooks who endorse such things, in EVERY religion!

I am confused are you saying the Universal Declaration of Human Rights is infact Not binding?

Secondly please show me where the declaration is Islamic in nature?

Lastly please show me where the OIC countries adhere to a seperate set of rules as you have stated?

and these Jokers who have asked for BAN were on AM640 this morning. (of course best way to get publicity is to criticize Islam and next day you are on TV/Radio).

He was unable to give ONE logical argument other than shouting - "if you want hijab, you should go back from where you came. Its not Canadian culture". He was not allowing other person (who was against any such ban) to talk. He was even unable to answer the question "what if WHITE women is taking Hijab? where should she go back?"

In India, many jewllery shops even Muslim owned are forbidding burqa wearing women from entering their shops. Something about too many men (Muslim and non-Muslim) masquerading as women but carrying shotguns under the burqa and robbing to owner. But then most of the Guppies supporting wearing burqa do not care about someone else's security.

I wasn’t around then so I read some of that thread and some of the responses are appalling. An astonishingly high percentage of the replies are along the lines of “Well, he shouldn’t have killed her but she deserved it!”. The implication is if he did something less than kill her to punish her, such as beat her severely it would have been okay. She “deserved” punishment for not wearing a scarf (did her killer cover his head? We know the answer…)? I thought there is no compulsion in Islam yet many of the replies are calling for compulsion on a minor issue such as whether 50% of the population should cover its hair (because the assumption is much of the other 50% can’t handle seeing hair. Perversely under this thinking it is the woman’s fault for what any man may do)?

Well you never anwser my questions i put forward to you but i am trying it yet again.
How many percentage of Muslims was pro killing? Did you conduct any servey?
I mean even the simplest polling like: standing outside a mosque on Friday :) (just a free tip for you) for example and asking people wether they are pro killing?

Was there any polling done? I mean you can talk here for whole year but no one really believes you mate.
