I know its hard to comprehend Law, however, there is a due process. Let me summarize, A foreign sick cult leaders instigated violence, slave mentality cult followers got excited, attacked police and bad things happened. There is no one at fault but the sick cult leader. The cause! Why doesn't he approach the courts and get a verdict according to law? I assume that would be the course of action if something happened in Canada, then why apply a different principle in Pakistan?
I have not followed his talks or rally jargon, but overheard him speaking on the TV about the injustice and the punishment for the crime according to Islam. However, Isn't it the job of the government appointed Qadhi/Judge to pass the ruling on the crime and its' punishment, and that brings me back to my first remark, Why not approach the courts like others who live in Pakistan and have to deal with the system that's in place?
The whole business of blocking streets, causing a shutdown of businesses, and disrupting the lives of common folk leaves a sour taste. It shouldn't happen. Protests should be in a designated area, in an organized fashion to get the voice heard, not to rile up the crowds with emotional rhetoric that causes people to damage public property.
