Post 9/11 there is the discrimination factor (just like in the UK). BUT Canada is the best country in the world.

If I come to Canada, will they harass me at the airport, make me strip to my boxers ect.
I always perceived Canada to be a tolerant place. A brushed up version of America. Those canadians I’ve met reinforced this positive perception.

Google searching suggests you would have to sit around 10 additional exams to be qualified as lawyer in Canada if you have a UK law degree. Each exam costs $550.

Given the background my MA will give me, what career paths are open in Canada. You know full well that the UK is just too expensive to live now. One of my Indian friends has moved to Colombus, Ohio after getting his MSc (he’s 2 years older then me), for the same reason of expense.
My eye is set on Canada…
