It's a shame to see the Canadians backing down from the brave stance taken by their High Commission in Delhi. The BSF is without a doubt guilty of unspeakable war crimes; I think the Canadian High Commission should be lauded for bringing attention to the issue. If the US can deny Narendra Modi a visa, surely the Canadians can keep these nobody war criminals out.

True, but the movement to keep Narendra Modi out of the US was very organized. The daughter of Ehsan Jafri (a former Indian MP who was hacked hacked to death along with the 70 other people hiding in his home during the riots) lead a coalition of Indian-American organizations to ensure that Modi didn't get his visa. They also had support from the US government's Commission on International Religious Freedom.
Frankly, I don't think the campaign to keep this nobody war criminal out of Canada is going to garner that kind of attention/support.
I have seen these kinds of mafia like threats used by the govenment of india before for other countries also......... to back down by any kind of brave statements based on facts but which exposes india's 'reality'.
