Chodhry, I have this suspicion that a lot of muslims dream of Allah but are afraid of admitting it because of fear of mullahs or other muslims jumping at them for trying to give shape to Allah. You have had the courage to state your dream and I laud you for that.
I strongly feel that a lot of people visualize Allah in their mind but feel guilty about it and hide it.

Allah is unimaginable and we muslims have faith in this and hence no muslim thinks of any shape for Allah....
u can feel happy with ur own idols (human form for god) but dont try to force it on others....

sawyer, do you see baghwan krishna in your dreams? If so, why does the need for statues and idols arise for u ppl?
[/QUOTE]
Ofcourse I've seen Baghwan Krishna as well as Allah in my dreams. The resemblance is remarkable.
As to idols and statues....some consider them focal points; some consider them divine objects; the ones in the temples came through ages and as such command respect. New ones are made in the belief the act begets punya. Plus, aren't they beautiful and awe inspring? Each God has one or more great stories and it becomes real easy to visualize the story with a picture in ones mind or looking at an idol.
What's the difference between radio and television Spocks?
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I JUST REALLY DID SEE ALLAH THALLAH IN A DREAM A FEW DAYS AGO. i dont know how many of u will believe this, but i wouldnt lie about this i really did. he was showing me heaven and hell, and telling me i was gonna be in hell four 4 min( 4 min according to his time) and than heaven. and i saw both. he was very friendly just like i imangined him to be. i thought this was gunnah at first, and asked people if it was wrong to see him in a dream. and he told me there was a hadees where this boy imagined allah to look like his sheep, and was very happy, so someone saw him and told him it was wrong, than prohet (SWS) said why did u do that? he was very happy with that image. so i its not wrong. oh well i hope that helps.

And still they are just pieces of stones... which are hand made.......??? And cows are just a mortal animal???
If messengers of God haven't been blessed with seeing Allah then how can we? We are mere beings Tom, you don't know what Allah is, i don't know what Allah is. We know who He is , but we can never understand Him and we certainly haven't seen Him. So the answer i think is that you cannot see Allah but you certainly can experience His presence. And i am personally too soiled to even claim that.
I have never dreamt of Allah SWT as you are implying. I believe that I have been given signs in dreams, but I did no see anyone or anything claiming to be God.
Humans cannot comprehend seeing Allah in this life and Moses is a living example of this. Dream or no dream.
Whether someone believes that they have seen Allah SWT in a dream is an individual choice and decision.
In reality it's a big no, whether you accept it or not.

Just smash an idol to the floor and find out how spiritual and powerful it is. I dont find them beautiful, my religion also forbids me from worshipping them, and so munney, dont come upto me and ask them if I find them shagadelic or not. The real God (Allah) is everywhere, and most importantly in our hearts.
As for your dreams, all you see are figments of your imagination. People see some weird stuff in their dreams, doesnt necessarily mean everything is reality. Wake up Tommy Boy.
well i didnt mean that i saw what Allah actually looked like in my dream. but i did have Allah’s presence in my dream and i saw a figure to. i’m not saying that he looks like the image in my dream, but that image in my dream was Allah. am i making ne sense? ne ways i dont think it’s wrong bc if it was why woulkd Allah thallah send me that dream ne ways? ne how i feel very special to have been one of the very feew lucky people who even get to have Allah in their dreams.
in ur previous quote u said that there is a book about Allah in dreams. if i tell u mine, can u tell me what it means plz?

Well the best option is look for some naik banda with this knowledge around you and ask him. I have heared that interpretation also depends upon the interpreter. and the best approach is to find someone you know personally.

Let's see. Your Taleban / Al Qaeda / or whatever you prefer calling them - they did go smash the Bamian statues. How long did it take before they got wiped out? And how - USA and pakistan that created that crowd in the first place - they are the ones that hunted that bunch.
Spiritually smashing don't you think? If you're into that kind of thing.

Munney, youve lost the argument, now no need to vent your anger by changing to topic and discussing Taliban. Oh and you called them My Taliban? Is this how you value your Muslim brothers in India too? Please try to take this fake secular mask of your dirty faces and admit your anti-Islam attitude openly.
Btw in my dreams I have fun smashing idols and statues ;)
The Prophet (PBUH) was instructed by Allah to smash all the statues in the Kabah when he arrived in Makkah. Now if you have a problem with that, our anything else in our religion, you can KMA.
