Can you dream of Alla?

Sholay, please. You obviously know what happened, yet sparring for an arguement. Spocksy did the same thing on another topic and wasted a lot of my time before Karina yelled at me for reacting. So just read what you wrote and you got your answer.

And what about worshiping cows man...just another mortal animal... People have been cutting and eating them for not years but centuries.... and are still eating them every where in the world......

an so called God that can't even defend themselves......

^ What's that to do with dreaming Allah?

Tom

I'm not here to argue. I tend to debate and agree to disagree.

I am merely responding to your post concerning the Taliban and the smashing of the statues. My translation of your post was that because of this act they were divinely punished through the US etc and wiped out. And that if we go on a crusade in this order the same thing can happen to us.

Correct if I'm wrong or give me the context of your post.

Getiing back to the thread. You and us have totally different beliefs and no we do not put a face onto God in order to identify Him. His Word through the Qur'aan and the pondering over His creation is enough for us.

I know people who say they have "heard" Allah in their dreams.

Now you can state whatever it is you wanted to state. smile

Gave up so soon? For starters, learn to spell "Allah" before dreaming.

I still can't believe we are still chattin on some dumb thread.... Its so simple.... When you cannot see something how can you dream about it........ For God sake...

Allah is not like man made idols...idols that can't defend themselves and just pieces of stones...or like mortal animals that have been serving as feast for yearzz......

Its simple Tom if you could explain the phenomenon of how is one supposed to dream of something they can't see.... go figure that out before thinking about dreaming of Allah

here is how u can...

We can’t see Allah swt with our naked eyes in this life, yet as a greatest reward Allah will reveal Himself to all Janaties in Jannah.

We are not bound by our 5 senses in our dreams. They are more dependent upon the flight of our imaginations. But even imaginations can’t go beyond a certain level, and as we can’t imagine the exact shape of Allah so we can’t have a dream of His exact shape.

So what that supposed to mean if you have dreamt of Allah? That means you have seen an expression of Allah not his exact shape. And your concept about Allah defines that expression.

Concepts of Allah vary from person to person. Like by Allah (not in a literal sense by any mean), I have a very friendly Personality in my mind, Who helps me in every problem. You might have a “Buzurg” type personality. For third person Allah may be a name of a cruel identity who doesn’t really care. These are all His “sifaat” (attributes) and we remember Him by his attributes.

So it’s quite possible to have a dream of Allah and see his expression formed by your imagination.

There’s a book in the market “Khuwab Namma Tabeer Yusaf” it has interpretations for dreams of Allah.

this is how it all starts....
u imagine a form of Allah although He clearly says in the Quran 42:11 that "....there is nothing like Him...." and then u get so attached to this image that u draw out a picture ot it, and then a statue follows....
and then idol worship....
so ur dream is the first step towards idol worship....
