Is it permissable for women to do recite the Quran (qeerat) in front of a mass of people. (including na mehrams)?

the reasoning is this that qirat is not farz, parda from na mehram is farz. Why would you want to violate farz to accomplish a non farz

I am a little confused. You can speak in front of na-mehrams. So a women can give a halaqa or a presentation. But Is Qeerat is considered more "intimate" (for lack of better word?"
But it is allowed for muslim women can do qeerat in the a gathering of only women - is that correct?

Qeerat can get very emotional and beautiful, hence more attractive. Yes she can do qeerat in an all women's gathering.
