How are you all? I hope all of us are enjoying summer. I have a question and may anyone please participate to help in this thread? Are we allowed to say Allah Tallah’s name in the washroom? Can we recite anything like Alhumdullillah? Some people say that we can’t because washroom is napaak. However, I would say there is nothing wrong with it because Allah Tallah is everywhere. We have to remember Allah Tallah at all times. Well, is there any quotes from Quran and Hadith regarding this?

no we cant do that....
And Allah is not everwhere.....Allah's knowledge is everywhere.
Re: Can we recite Allah Tallah’s name in the washroom?
We must believe in all the Qualities of Allah which Allah has stated in His Book(Quran) or mentioned through His Prophet(Saw) without changing thier meaning or ignoring them completely or twisting the meaning or likening them to any of the created things …Allah is present over His throne as mentioned in the Quran:20:5
"The Most Gracious (Allah) rose over(istawa) the (Mighty) Throne (in a manner that suits His Majesty),"Over the seventh Heaven ;and He comes down Over the first(nearest) heaven to us during the last third part of every night and also on the day of Arafah…as mentioned by the Prophet(saw)…
But He is with us by His knowledge, not by HIs personal-self.
Also Allah says
“There is nothing like Him and He is the all Hearer All seer”
The noble verse proves the quality of hearing and the quality of sight for Allah without likening it to any of the created things.(Darrusalaam translations)

Allahuma Inni Aaoodhobika minal khubse wal khubaa'es.
"O Allah, I seek your protection from the devils, male and female"
However, you should not carry anything with Allah's name written on it, such as books, jewelry etc.
jazakAllah safeena.......i think we can only read this dua before entering the bathroom...........I don't think we can recite Quran or name of Allah in Bathroom.
Re: Can we recite Allah Tallah's name in the washroom?
I remember that Companions of the Prophet(saw) were so used to of reciting Quran that they had to fill thier mouth with the pebbels during the call of nature.i will try to find reference InshaAllah.
Re: Can we recite Allah Tallah's name in the washroom?
From your most of the replies, there is nothing wrong with reciting Allah Tallah's name. People who wear Jewlery, Taweez, are prohibited to bring in te washroom.
