Re: can we eat with non-muslims?
maybe you should move north of the border ![]()
Re: can we eat with non-muslims?
Do you want to add Koonday, Nazar, Niyaaz, Langar to that list or will that be too controversial to discuss:)
Although that come on the list as non Allah name is taken on thoes
but you know that will become controversial if you talk about them in Pakistan
Re: can we eat with non-muslims?
no my uncle didn’t say that but I wanted to seriously find out whether sea-food(fish, shrimp etc.) is halaal or not?
Re: can we eat with non-muslims?
kaffir!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yaa ever one knows that in arabic the word for non muslims is kaffir
so whats the problem
Re: can we eat with non-muslims?
^^ Well I don’t mind , to be very honest , I cant live in Pakistan or India . Good tourist destinations but a big no for living .
I don’t know what is moin’s stance on this issue , if he follows his usual pitch then obviously it is not allowed .
I once heard Dr zakir Naik on same issue and he was like Muslim shouldn’t be living in non muslim countries .
I don’t simply agree with his approach .
why you listen half speech
he has the way , that to whom he is agrueing with , he always in the start says , for the sake of argument , i agree with you and speeks what other say
and then he proves that argument was wrong

What makes you think fish is haram?
Re: can we eat with non-muslims?
No.. how about you? They are not always halaal. Just like Jewish ppl prefer Kosher meals, muslims want halaal. As far as I know, "Fish Sandwich" or any kind of sea-food is not halaal.
so when you are out of your home, away from any "Muslim" friends houses, "Muslim" restaurants, what do you eat?
Re: can we eat with non-muslims?
^ ^ Public ka bheja aur kya ![]()
BTW is it halal ![]()
Re: can we eat with non-muslims?
I'm waiting for that first Muslim guy who refuses to eat in his elementary cafeteria because he's around non-muslims.
Re: can we eat with non-muslims?
I don’t know. I am asking you:confused:.
Re: can we eat with non-muslims?

I usually eat vegetarian food. I won't eat meat unless it is at a muslim place- Middle-eastern or Pakistani certified. A friend of mine told me that a lot of Indian restaurants(which are more than Pakistani restaurants in numbers outside the subcontinent) advertize "halaal" logo but are not always halaal- sometimes they buy cheap frozen meat from supermarket(which is not halaal) and prepare it quickly.
Re: can we eat with non-muslims?
Oh my God.
Bro, is that what is on your mind?
of course we can eat with non-muslims, they are made by God and they are humans. we may not eat what they eat, but we cannot live in a bubble of arrogance that even Allah will despise in us.
cheers!
Re: can we eat with non-muslims?
this is what the sickos calling themselves religious experts have done to muslims - are you allowed to eat? are you allowed to drink out of a cup? are you allowed to wear a blue shirt? are you allowed to have a certain type of sex? are you allowed do this that!
don't you have a brain that tells you what's right and wrong?
Re: can we eat with non-muslims?
I usually eat vegetarian food.
what restaurant/places do you go to eat vegetarian food?
Re: can we eat with non-muslims?
Can we eat a non Muslims?
Re: can we eat with non-muslims?
I was going to say that as well, the Prophet :saw: accepted the invitation of the Jewish woman who tried to poison him… Although whether the food was ate at her house with her menfolk or sent to the Prophet’s :saw: place, I don’t know…
Another incident which comes to mind is when the Prophet :saw: announced the Religion of God to his relatives he invited them to a banquet, the occasion when 'Ali
/:as: was the first amongst them to stand up and embrace Islaam.
Also we’re allowed to marry women from the People of (previous) Scripture (Christian and Jewish) so obviously we Muslims’ll be eating with them if they’re our wives or mothers…
As long as the food is not Haraam I don’t think there is anything wrong. I don’t know why we like to invent rules and make things hard, we’re not Jews, I know some strict Jews don’t like eating with Goyim but I don’t know of such laws in Islaam.
