I try to buy halaal meat or any other stuff prepared by Muslims.. Islam is the only religion.

Where do you get onions from ? Pakistan has imported these from India several times. India has also been imported sugar from Pakistan.

Most of the 'Indian' restaurants abroad are run by Pakistanis. If i say that I will eat food prepared only by a Hindu purohit then I would simply starve to death. Because this class is now almost extinct.

i just remember hearing a saying "you can eat from a jewish's home..but not a christians...but you can sleep at at a christian's home...but not at a jewishs home..."

it becomes a question of what one adds to the food which may beokay for them but forbidden for us. If people follo different dietary guidelines it can be an issue ya know. I mean with kosher food its the same..
Personally I eat food prepared by hindus who know what I can and can not eat, just like my hindu pals eat what I make because they know that i know and respect their dietary needs and would not serve them beef for example.

^ I agree, it's down to one's faith in the food being offered...providing one has familiarised themselves with the particulars of the dish and is satisfied that it doesn't contain forbidden ingredients, I personally don't see why we shouldn't eat food prepared by people of other religions...

All well and good that you try to do this...:)
But to say that any food prepared by non-muslims is haraam is a strong statement...I just wish to ascertain how you are able to avoid this in light of the fact that much of what we purchase is from supermarkets etc and is more than likely to have been prepared by muslims and non-muslims alike...
I personally feel that unless one farms their own crops etc. how are we to avoid foods that have had such contact...? I'm not nit-picking here...it simply doesn't make sense to me...and seems an impossible feat...

Okay, Okay guy and gals.. As far as possible, avoid non-muslim stuff.. My Hindu colleagues used to offer me food prepared by their wife/mothers etc.. I would accept their offering in front of them but I would throw it later on in the trash bin.. Ask any moulvi in Pakistan about this and they would ask you to abstain from anything prepared by kafirs.. A colleague of mine Rajesh invited him many a times for his wedding and I hard time turning him down... In the end I had to tell him that we as Muslims are not supposed to join a kafir's weddings.

where did you hear this? I have read to the contrary, as long as you are not personally participating in rituals contrary to Islam, it is okay. so dont sing any bhajans about any hindu dieties, but sitting in an audience, wishing the couple well and all should be of no consequence

Sir, ask any Islamic scholar (moulvi) from Lahore or Pindi and they'll tell you to abstain from Kafirs weddings or any celebrations.. their nikaah is 180 degree different than ours.. they dont even appoint a qazi and hence their nikaah is NOT recognized by Islam.. I am sorry to say that but they are just facts..

In addition, non-Muslims are not under any obligation to get married the way prescribed in Islam.
It's good that you have access to scholars easily. Now could you please ask your scholars to provide evidence for what they have said in the light of Quran and Sunnah. It'll be much appreciated. I'll await your response.

Going by your opinions all non-muslims have no right to exist. If they do they exist as promiscous people who produce generation after generation a breed of b.a.s.t.a.r.d.s or illegitimate children or children born out of wedlock.
I stick to my guns that your unique mindset should be a subject of research.
I won't hesitate in stating that people harbouring such kind of mindset are responsible for the plight of muslims.
