Can these elections be called fair?

Re: Can these elections be called fair?

Why such defeatist attitude? "PPP will win the elections and form a government again." Or at least we have been told numerous times. Performance alone is indicative of how successful the previous regime has been in serving the people...no wait...that's not it. Has been successful in serving the nation...no wait that's not it either.

Well it has been successful in some things. Other failures are the fault of everyone else who wasn't a part of the Government.

Re: Can these elections be called fair?

That is not the thread about. Really I give a rat's @$$ who wins the elections. It is regarding TTP's terrorizing PPP and other parties discourage them for participating in election process which makes this elections unfair and unjust.

Re: Can these elections be called fair?

People will still vote for who they feel served them well. TTP isn't going to go to each house and tell people don't vote this, that and the other.

I feel people should vote for PPP again because of their stellar performance. PIA is running neck and neck with Emirates, Singapore and Qatar Airways, another 5 years and PIA would have been the only airline with a 6 star ranking. Same goes for other public sector infrastructure.

Don't spread doom and gloom. Rejoice! For PPP has a lot to count on this coming election.

Re: Can these elections be called fair?

I have posted a proof of your leader in your thread and decide who is really Baisharam? ZAB killed more than three decades ago, never heard or saw such kind of Baisharmi during the entire life of ZAB like your leader was involved. I don't want to post here any new proof here, as this thread is not about personal traits of your leader.

Re: Can these elections be called fair?

*in looting the country *

:D

Re: Can these elections be called fair?

If PPP wins, it will be a fair election. If it does not win, it hasn't been a fair election, and TTP is to be blamed. Damn them kalashinkov toting thugs going around door to door to stop people from eating, drinking, and voting for PPP.

Re: Can these elections be called fair?

No taliban threats and violence before 3 weeks ago? That's news. I wonder why they kept mobile phone service suspended on several occasions. Have taliban and MQM/ANP/PPP been friends before interim government? Was Karachi safe before that?

No responsibility of PPP/MQM/ANP government? If you cannot ensure your own safety, let alone a common man, you have no right to ask for a chance to be in government anyways.

Amazing transfer of responsibility from yourself to someone else.

Re: Can these elections be called fair?

They know PPP cant win thats why TTP is being blamed for non free elections and guess what PPP was in power for 5 years and could not deal with TTP themselves

Re: Can these elections be called fair?

*Zardari + Altaf Hussain + TTP *

Axis of evil.

And now that all other strategies for this election have failed, they have restroed to terrorism!

Re: Can these elections be called fair?

Under these circumtances winning by PPP will be a miracle. However it is not about winning or losing. It is about playing on level field which right now not for PPP as per my post # 1.

Re: Can these elections be called fair?

I only said that no condemnation, shame or sorrow from either IK or from N$, $$ for such threats and killings of innocent people by TTP in Sindh and KP.

Re: Can these elections be called fair?

I believe in miracles.

Re: Can these elections be called fair?

Link any killings by TTP saying that they would target only PPP, ANP and MQM during coalition government in Sindh and KP for five years. It will be really a news for me.

Perhaps you have short term memory. When BB first came to Karachi after self exile, she was target of bombings killings of hundreds of innocent people and thousand injured. However she survived the first time. In October 2007 she was again target of killings by these monsters. These monsters have been groomed and trained by past military dictators. in ki jarhain Punjab main gusi howee hain aor tumharay leader un ka tun tuna bajha rahay hain.

Re: Can these elections be called fair?

So TTP is only a hot issue when they threaten these parties specifically. But if they target Police, Army, Navy, Public that's business as usual?

Re: Can these elections be called fair?

Sorry I am not.

Re: Can these elections be called fair?

Right now they are targeting innocent people of PPP, ANP and MQM.

Re: Can these elections be called fair?

MQM is holding big jalsas in broad daylight, that toad makes painfully long telephonic rant, there are no attacks. So that means Taliban only target the street where the MQM offices are located, after 9pm at night? Thats quite considerate of them if you think about it.

Re: Can these elections be called fair?

And these innocent people are more precious than thousands who gave their lives in the last 5 years?

Re: Can these elections be called fair?

Again you are getting it wrong. Targeting three parties so that they should not participate in the elections is wrong. Do you like that such sham elections where major contenders are absent?

Re: Can these elections be called fair?

God Forbid they should be absent from contesting the polls. Use the public power. PPP has served the public, and spared no effort to reach out to the common man in the last 5 years. President Zardari has spent almost all his time involved with the public personally along with his closest aides. It is time that the public would come to shield their ex-PMA/MNA belonging to these parties.

Like I said before, TTP cannot go door to door to stop people from voting. PPP and its' coalition partners can go door to door to ask for their rightful votes based on performance.

What I'm having trouble comprehending is not what you're saying now. But rather what the PPP representatives were saying all along up till the last minute that terrorism has been reduced, there are less suicide attacks, peace is prevailing everywhere because of PPP and its' coalition partners' determination to uproot it.

So either the Government was lying all along and terrorism has only increased, or TTP was so afraid of PPP/ANP/MQM that they waited till they were no longer in the office to start targetting them. They were busy blowing up everyone else the last 5 years; again possibly due to fear of the Government.

Right?
